Paver Patios
Patios and walkways set on a real base, with locked borders so blowing sand cannot undercut them.

Houses near the water and buildings with a lot of shared ground around them. Both need work that survives a coastal summer.
What the Work Looks Like
Orange Beach property is mostly one of two things: a house on or near the water, or a building with a good deal of shared ground around it. Both want the same thing from a landscaper — work that holds up through a coastal summer, and a crew that keeps showing up between the owner's visits.
Hardscape carries most of it. Pavers handle wind, blowing sand and standing water better than a poured slab does, and when a section eventually moves you reset that piece rather than demolishing the whole thing. Patios, walkways and pool surrounds are the bulk of what we build here.
Planting has to be deliberate. Anything on the Gulf side takes salt and wind straight on, so the softer material goes in behind a windbreak or it does not go in at all. Beds get built up rather than dug down, because sand this close to the water will not hold what you put on top of it for long.
Then there is storm season. From June through November everybody down here watches the same maps, and what a property actually needs afterward is unglamorous: limbs off the beds, debris hauled out, washed mulch and sand pushed back where it belongs, and sprinkler heads found and repaired. We handle that as part of keeping a place up, not as a separate emergency service with a separate price tag.

Learn moreThe argument for pavers on the coast is repairability. Ground shifts here — that is not a defect, it is sand near salt water. A paver surface lets you pull up ten square feet, correct the base and put the same material back down so the repair does not read as a patch.
Concrete does not give you that option. Once it cracks, your choices are living with it or breaking it out.
