Silverhill Work, Without the Runaround

Silverhill is a small town and it operates like one. One bad job follows you around, and the fastest way to get hired for the next thing is to do this one properly and not pad the bill. That suits how we already work.

Property here covers the whole range. There are village lots you could mow in an hour, and there are places out on the edge of town with several acres, a shop building and a tree line to keep back. We take both, with the equipment sized to the job rather than whatever was already hooked to the truck that morning.

The work itself is usually straightforward. Regular mowing and edging so a place stays presentable without anybody thinking about it. Beds cut back into a real shape after a couple of years of getting away from somebody. A short retaining wall where a slope has been washing across a driveway every spring. Sod in the bare patches, or an honest conversation about not planting grass in a spot that has already told you no twice — which is usually where bed and planting work makes more sense than turf.

We are about twenty-five minutes away in Daphne, and Silverhill sits between Robertsdale and the Eastern Shore, so we are often through here anyway. If you want a straight answer about what something costs and whether it is even worth doing, that part is free.
